Orto botanico – Scaletta di Colle Aperto

Inside the Lorenzo Rota botanical allotment there are some very peculiar collections indeed. It is a place in the greenery on the Open Colle meadow of High City, inhabited by exotic plants and plants that are typical of the area. The pomological and micological vegetable models are three collections of plant exemplars, and apples, prunes, apricots, peaches, strawberries, various fruit, some of which has not been discovered yet, and finally mushrooms: all the pieces are rigorously fake and exhibited in wooden boxes with labels of their names on them. These collections are made of papier-mâché, wax and wood, are intended to have educational value and jointly with their living counterparts, they are part of the allotment collection.
